History of the Rollin Irish Half Marathon
The Rollin Irish Half Marathon was started as "Kurt's and Sherry's Half Marathon". Kurt Lauenstein trained on this scenic, hilly course and thought others would enjoy it too. The race was originally held in July but has steadily moved back until late April. It has become a favorite "tune up" for those runners tackling the Vermont City Marathon, held every Memorial Day weekend. The course was USATF certified in 1992.

The Rollin Irish Half Marathon has been directed by MANY people!
